The goal of Berlin Affordable Art was to ensure authentic art which reflects the culture and history of the city, remains accessible and indeed, affordable.

Since the closing of Kunsthaus Tacheles in 2012, a gap has been left in the Berlin street art world. A new space was required, its intention to preserve this subculture, and once again showcase the work of all these great artists who had lost their “home”. After communicating with the most prominent Tacheles artist Tim Roeloffs, we opened the Klassenfeind Gallery in June 2015 to ensure artists like Tim get their work seen by locals and tourists drawn to Berlin’s vibrant art scene. Unfortunatley after 21 month we had to close our Klassenfeind Gallery in March 2017.
